The East Coast Blizzard U18 claimed the NLU18MHL title on Friday evening by defeating the defending champions Pinnacle Growlers U18 7-4 and taking the Championship Series 4 games to 2 and winning the Kubota Cup.

Playoff MVP was Blizzard goalie Will Morgan.

"Congrats to both teams for highly succesful regular seasons and a thrilling Finals series" commented NLU!8MHL President Glenn Littlejohn. "The NLU18MHL enjoyed a very competitive season amongst all five franchises which speaks to the high level of player development in ths Province"..

The team will now go on to represent Newfoundland & Labrador at the U18 Major Atlantic Hockey Chamionships in Kensington, PEI from April 2-6, 2025.  Keep up with all the action online at https://atlanticaaahockey.ca/
