The Newfoundland and Labrador Ul8 AAA Major Hockey League has been advised that Central Impact has made the difficult decision to cease operations and withdraw from league play.

We recognize the significant effect this news has on Central's players, families, coaches, volunteers and supporters. We thank everyone who has contributed their time and commitment to the Impact program and to the development of hockey in the Central region.

The league executive is working with the appropriate partners and member teams to address the effects of this withdrawal. Our immediate priority is to support those affected, review all available options and make the necessary adjustments to league operations and scheduling.

Further information will be communicated once those details have been finalized.
